There are not many tourist destinations in Varanasi but the city is full of life and it is interesting to watch the river at ghats and visit numerous temples in these areas. There is also a fort here across the river and it is interesting to take boat ride across it reach the other end. The ghats are good places with steps for taking bath and there are many such ghats around the city like Rana Ghat, Narad Ghat, Shivala Ghat, Tulsi Ghat, etc.
