Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple is located at Trichanur and all pilgrims to Tirupati visit this holy place also. The place is also called Alamelumangapuram and the Devi is the main deity here. The name also has the meaning that this is the place of Sage Suka Maharishi who is believed to have done his penance here. The goddess here is also called Alarmelmangai meaning the lady on the top of the lotus flower.
