Chakra Teertham is situated near Silathoranam and is famous for the temple with Swayambu Lingam. This water is considered to be sacred water and has many legends related to this. It is believed that this place was selected by Lord Brahma for observing repentance and Lord Vishnu threw his Sudarsana Chakram to clean this place and this Chakram created a deep pit called Chakra Teertham. As people believe that worshipping here will help them to attain salvation, this has become a favorite religious spot in Tirupati.
