Parsons Valley Reservoir is a Hydel Reservoir located at a height of 2196 meters above the sea level. It covers an area of 202 hectares of land. This is the major source of supply of water to the nearby towns.

This is surrounded by thick jungle and the area around it is called the Parson’s Valley. This is a reserved forest area and one has to get the permission of the State Forest Department to enter the region. From this valley you can enjoy the sights of the nearby Mukurthi Lake and this is a good base for short treks.
