Deer Park is located near the Ooty Lake. If you take a boat ride in the lake, you can have a view of the deer park adjacent to it. This is located at a height of 2,100 meters above sea level. It was established in 1986 and covers an area of 22 acres of land among which 6 acres are open to the public.

This is a perfect place for visiting some of the wildlife species and for trekking. You get the glimpse of the dense jungles of the Nilgiris. This is maintained by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited.
