Nehru Planetarium is a wing of Nehru Museum located in the Teen Murti House. This was the residence of the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru earlier during his lifetime. In 1964, Nehru planetarium was built to provide astronomical education.

 

Jawahar Jyothi is the eternal flame burning here in the memory of Jawaharlal Nehru and there is a monumental granite rock with inscriptions of his famous destiny speech. This museum contains manuscripts, periodicals and rare journals. Nehru Planetarium educates about the Space Program of India and astronomy quiz and art competitions are conducted here.
