The Laxmi Narayan Temple also called as Birla Mandir as it was built by the industrialist G.D. Birla in 1938. It was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi.

It spreads over 7.5 acres of land and has many shrines and a large garden. This is built in Nagara style of architecture. The fresco paintings adorn the shrine.

There are shrines of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Hanuman, Lord Narayan, Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Buddha. This temple is located on the west of the Connaught Place.
