This is a lotus shaped temple with each of its petals constructed in concrete with white marble faces. It has nine pools of water around the place and it appears as though the lotus is floating on the water. Though it belongs to the Bahai sect, it is dedicated to all the religions.

It was designed by the architect Furiburz Sabha and was completed in 1986. It is also called as the 20th century Taj Mahal.

It has a prayer hall where the people of all religions come and pray. The temple is open on all days from 9.30 A.M. to 5.30 P.M.
