Navegaon is a popular forest area that also has a beautiful lake located amidst the green hills. Dr. Salim Ali Birds’ Sanctuary is located here which serves as the home of the thousands of beautiful migratory birds. If you embark on jungle safari you can notice many animals like leopard, sloth bears, gaurs, sambars, langoors and chitals.

Other thrilling pastimes are staying at treetop house, riding a sailboat in the lake and bird watching from the watchtower at Navegaon National Park. From this watchtower you can get the glimpses of the panoramic view of the surrounding forest area.
