Ambazari Lake is located in the western part of the city and is one of the important picnic spots here. Many fun activities such as boating and riding in toy train are enjoyed here. Swinging Columbus Boat remains a favorite game of people.

The Ambazari Lake comes under the control of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation and is well maintained. The musical fountain and the replica of the dinosaur add joy to the children. There is a well maintained garden around the lake spreading to an area of about 20 acres of land and it was established in the year 1958. The garden is known as Ambazari Garden. This is the biggest lake in the city.
