Dolmens look like tripods with two large erect stones and a slab over them. They belong to prehistoric era and bear witness to the existence of Neolithic people. According to the researchers, the dolmens belong to 5000 B.C. and due to the ravages of time they have depleted gradually. These dolmens are found in various places in Kodaikanal.
