Kadamattom Church is one of the ancient churches of India established in 9^th century A.D. and is located near Muvattupuzha. It is a part of the Malankara Jacobite Orthodox Syrian Church. Some records say that it was established in the year 865 AD by Mar Abo, a Persian high priest and his photo is seen inside the church. The ancient writings are inscribed on the arms of the walls. Kadamatom feast celebrated in the months of January and February are the important festivals here. There are two other churches associated with this namely Parumala Church on the right side and the Kadamattom Kathanar church on the left.
