Samode Palace is also called Samode Haveli and Samode Bagh. Samode fort was first built in sixteenth century. This was designed in Rajput and Mughal architectural style. This fort was converted into palace by Rawal Berisal in 19th century. His descendant, Rawal Sheo Shingh served as the Prime Minister of Jaipur in the middle of the nineteenth century. He expanded the palace and added Darbar Hall and lived there for many years. He built the Sheesh Mahal or the hall of mirrors in that palace.

In 1987, Samode Palace was converted into the Samode Palace Hotel. Samode Bagh or the Samode garden around the palace was built by the son of Maharaja Prithiraj Singhji of Jaipur. It was made in the fashion of the Mughal gardens. Samode Haveli is an elegant dining room with an airy passage. In the garden, there are many tents to accommodate the visitors. They are furnished by the carpets, standing lamps and beds and chairs.
