V.O. Chidambaram Park and Stadium is located in the heart of the city. It has a children’s park, a mini zoo, a football stadium, a big ground where exhibitions and circuses are conducted occasionally and a swimming pool.

V.O.C. Park is one of the weekend retreats of people of Erode. This also has Anjaneyar Temple within its premises and an Eduga ground where special mass prayers are conducted by Islamic people during festival times. Opposite to the Eduga ground there is a small lotus pond. There is also a toy train near the mini zoo inside the park.
