Tamil Nadu Agriculture University has a botanical garden that spreads over an area of about 300 acres of land which is called TNAU Botanical Garden. There are many species of plants and trees seen here and also there is a nursery that sells plants. They teach the people about growing plants and organic pesticides. Once in a year in the month of January flower shows and plant shows are held.
