Aliyar Dam Reservoir spreads over an area of 6.48 square kilometers and is one of the recreational spots with park, garden, aquarium, mini theme park and play area. Boating facility is also available. The place has a scenic beauty with mountains all around it. Ambarambalayam Darga is situated near this area and many visitors come to this place for spiritual reasons. There is rest house in this forest that provides overnight stay.
