Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall was built in 1915 to commemorate Sri K. Sheshadri Iyer who served as the Dewan of Mysore from the year 1883 to 1901. This building is located adjacent to Cubbon Park in Bangalore and has the Sheshadri Memorial Library within it.

The Tuscan and Carinthian columns make this European style building look stately. This red building is built in the middle of the park. There is a beautiful rose garden in the front that has the statue of Sheshadri Iyer.

The library spreads over an area of 300 meter square and this is under the control of the State Library Authority. The library received Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation Award for the best state central library in India in the year 2000 A.D. It houses 2.65 lakh books and also has a Braille section for the visually impaired people.
