Cubbon Park, M.G. Road, Bangalore

Jawahar Bal Bhavan is located in the Cubbon Park in M.G. Road and spreads over an area of 12.5 acres. It is functioning exclusively for the children of 5 to 16 years. The Bal Bhavan Society was started by the government in 1985.

 

The various activities and facilities for children are doll house, toy train ride, yoga, film show, indoor play, library, horse riding and painting and hobby classes and other outbound activities. There are also slides, swings, see-saw and small cottages built for entertainment purposes. There is a 20 million years old fossilized tree here gifted by the Geological Survey of India.

 

Summer and annual camps, celebration of national level festivals, organizing birthday parties of children, Bala Vedike program and Vijayaranga Rangamandira are some of the programs organized by and for children. Contact Number: 080 22864189
