Attara Kacheri is the building where the Karnataka High Court is situated. It is a two storied building constructed during the time of Tipu Sultan. As the Tipu's Palace could not accommodate all the sections of the government, this building was constructed.

The construction of Attara Kacheri was supervised by Rao Bahadur Arcot Narayanaswami Mudaliar and was completed in 1868. The eighteen departments of general secretariat and revenue secretariat were shifted here and so it got its name as Attara Kacheri meaning 18 departments.

Attara Kacheri is located in front of the Vidhan Soudha. This red brick building is at present called the Karnataka High Court.
