Hanuman Mandir is located near the Allahabad Fort. Lord Hanuman is the main deity here and the huge idol of Hanuman measuring 20 feet long and 8 feet wide is placed here. It is located on the banks of the River Ganges. When the water level in the river increases, a part of the statue will be submerged into water and it is attributed to the mythology that Ganga wants to touch the feet of Hanuman.
