Alopi Devi Mandir is located near Sangam and is near to the place where Kumbh Mela is held. The one notable feature of this temple is that there is no statue of any deity here but only a wooden carriage called doli is worshipped. There are many legends about this temple and is said that the Chakra of Lord Vishnu fell on this place making it holy. Though there is no statue of any deity, the one worshipped here is Alopi Devi or the virgin disappeared goddess.
