This museum served as the house of Mahatma Gandhi and was established in 1915. This is the major attraction in Ahmedabad and is located in the banks of River Sabarmati. This ashram is also known as Satyagraha Ashram and it was from this place that Mahatma Gandhi started his Dandi March in 1930. In this place you can see the three wise monkeys depicting the concept of Mahatma. Also the teachings of Gandhi are found in the premises and it has a handicrafts center and a handmade paper factory and also a spinning wheel factory.
