Zalak Desai Biography 
Zalak Desai is a television actress known for the daily soaps - Muh Boli Shaadi and Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai, where she portrayed pivot roles. She played title role of Anmol Nikhil Tiwari in Muh Boli Shaadi, aside Meghan Jadhav and Faha Ali, while she played parallel lead Sarla Ambar Raghuvanshi in the popular television series - Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai. Currently she appears in Hum Aapke Ghar Mein Rehte Hain, the television series in which she plays the female lead. Noted Gujarati actress Falguni Desai is her mother.
Zalak Desai was born on December 20, 1992 in Mumbai, Maharastra. She is the daughter of Gujarati actress Falguni Desai. She started her acting career at the age of 16. The series was Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai aired in 2009. She did schooling from R.N.Shah High School, Mumbai and she completed 10th standard only after she debut television. She scored 90% aggregate marks for her exams. Then she took a break from the industry to complete her studies. She completed higher secondary, followed by graduation in B.Sc Biotechnology from Mithibai College, University of Mumbai before she returned back to small screen once again. Sony TV serial Dil Deke Dekho in 2014 marked her comeback, followed by Muh Boli Shaadi.
The actress likes movies and her favourite movies are Chachi 420, Kal Ho Na Ho and Hera Pheri. She loves shopping and is not brand conscious. She admits that she is a big time shopaholic. Zalak is also involved in various social activities and always offer a helping hand. In the upcoming epic series, Siya Ke Ram, she plays Ram’s sister Shanta. She currently plays female lead in Hum Aapke Ghar Mein Rehte Hain (Series) since August 2015.
