Washington Sundar Biography 
Washington Sundar is a budding young cricketer, who is currently a team member of National cricket team. Previously associated with India national under-19 cricket team as a Batsman, and also as a member of Tamil Nadu team in domestic cricket and Ranji Trophy, this youngster has now found place in the national team. At the age of 19, he made his ODI debut for India against Sri Lanka on 13 December 2017 and also his T20I debut against Sri Lanka on 24th December 2017. An aspiring young cricketer of Indian team right now, he is one among the best finds in the recent times. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-spinner for his team. He currently holds the record of youngest player to debut for India in T20Is.
Washington Sundar hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was born on 5th October 1999. He made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy in October 2016. Since then he has played 12 FC matches, scoring 532 runs at an average of 31.29. In those innings, he also scored 2 centuries and one half century. He scored his maiden first-class century against Tripura while batting for Tamil Nadu in 2017–18 Ranji season. He was also named as a member of India U-19 world cup squad in 2016. It’s quite surprising that he wanted to become an off spinner, but ended up as a talented batsman.
He joined National team in November 2017 as a member of T20 team for the series against Sri Lanka. He replaced injured Kedar Jadhav for an ODI match in the same tour, thus marking his debut in One-day internationals. He also scored a wicket in his maiden ODI match. With the first T-20 match played on 24 December 2017, he became the youngest Indian player to debut in this format of game. Formerly a member of Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL matches, he has been bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2018 IPL auction.
