Viveka Babajee Biography 
Viveka Babajee was an Indian actress and model. She was born on 23rd May 1973 in Mauritius though her native was India. She won the title of Miss Mauritius World 1993 and went on to win Miss Mauritius Universe 1994.
Her mother belongs to Maharashtra and was born in Hyderabad. She had four sisters and she was the youngest of them all. Though she was a popular model in Mumbai, she acted in only one Bollywood movie named Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat in 2002. She starred along with Deeksha and Dinesh Hingoo in this movie directed by Dinkar Kapur. This film is a romantic thriller with full of romance, fun and suspense.
She became very famous after her Kamasutra commercial. Her Kamasutra condom advertisement in 1990 made her a popular figure. She appeared in the music video of Daler Mehndi, Boom Boom. She worked with the company APEX ENT in 2009. Her boyfriend and business partner was Karthik Joban Putra and later she broke off her ties.
She started her own event management business in January 2010 and undertook some projects including Arjun Khanna Show at Taj Colaba. She named her company as VIBGYOR ENT and managed the Lifestyle events and Boutik Events. Her company was quite successful. She also worked with FTV as a television presenter.
Though she hailed from Mauritius she shifted her residence to Mumbai to pursue her career in film and modeling industry. She won the supermodel title in the year 1994 and became a popular face both at the national level and international level.
She died on 25th June 2010. She was found to be hanging from the fan in her room at Bandra residence in Mumbai. Policemen found out that the knob of the kitchen gas was opened. The reports of police stated that she committed suicide owing to extreme depression. Some unconfirmed reports pointed out that she took this end due to the depression caused by the separation from her boyfriend Gautam Vohra. She has attempted suicide twice earlier and lost her life in the third attempt.
