Vishvesh Parmar Biography

Vishvesh Parmar is a popular music composer and playback singer associated with Gujarati film music. He is also a sound engineer associated with Bollywood. He shot to fame after composing the music of Gujarati blockbuster in the recent times - Kevi Rite Jaish in 2012. The songs earned him Binani Big Gujarati award for Most Entertaining Song in 2012. Vishvesh has also worked in Bollywood music as a sound engineer as well as playback singer for movies such as Rann, Phoonk 2, Rakta Charitra 1 and 2, Gang of Ghosts etc, prior to his entry to Gujarati films as a music composer. Pankhida was Vishvesh Parmar's first composition which went viral over the net. Pankhida marked Gujarati debut of the popular song - Suraj Jagan.

 

Vishvesh Parmar was born in Anand, Gujarat in 1983. He was brought up in Nadiad, where he completed schooling at St. Mary’s High School. Later he completed Engineering at A.D Patel Institute of Technology, Vallabh Vidyanagar. As music was his passion, he moved to Ahmedabad in 2007 where he did solo performances on weekends at local cafes for more than one year. Then he moved to Mumbai to study sound engineering and recording arts. He got his first break to Bollywood as a sound engineer for the movies, Rann, Phoonk 2 etc in 2010.

 

Kharekhar is one among the singers of the title track of Ram Gopal Verma's Rakta Charitra - Milega to Marega. In 2014 he sang Ishq Behn ka Dinna for Gang of Ghosts. But it was his composition – Pankhida, and also Kharekhar for 2012 Gujarati film Kevi Rite Jaish, which gave him the real breakthrough. The singer also does live shows across the country with his band. Chachi's Funeral – is his latest movie as a music composer.
