Vishak Nair Biography

Vishak Nair is an upcoming young actor associated with Malayalam movies in the recent times. He made his film debut with youth-oriented Anandham in 2016 and was later seen in Mammootty starrer Puthan Panam and Honey Rose starrer Chunkz. He is also a theatre actor. This budding actor has been noticed for the roles he played in the three releases till now, and has a handful of projects with several leading stars of Mollywood. He played the character Kuppi in his debut film, Aanandham which gained him a lot of fame and recognition.

Vishak Nair hails from Muvattupuzha, Kochi, Kerala. But his childhood days were spent at Delhi and Sharjah where he completed his school studies. Since academic years, he was attracted towards arts and exhibited his talents in singing, theatre, debate etc. Vishak later completed Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. During his college days too he was fully active in theatre and music and was a member of a rotary club and music band too. He is fully interested in acting and singing. After engineering studies, he worked as a consultant in a private firm in Chennai for two years. Yet he didn’t leave his passion towards arts and theatre and was associated with stage plays.

He was a member of local theatre groups like The Little Theatre Trust and KiKass Theatre, and also dabbed into comedy shows during his stay in Chennai. He made his film debut in 2016, and got recognized for his debut film itself. His role, Kuppi in this blockbuster is unforgettable. Though he played the character Unnikrishna Pillai in this film, everyone recognizes him through the nickname, Kuppi. His role gave some cheer moments, laughter and though provoking moments as well. Chunkz is his recent release. Aana Alaralodaral, Chembarathipoovu and Match box are his upcoming releases.
