Vindhya Tiwari Biography

Vindhya Tiwari is a popular television actress of Hindi soaps. She is one of the most successful female leads in Hindi soaps. Made her debut with 2007 series, Ghar Ek Sapnaa aired on Sahara One, she shot to fame playing the female antagonist in one of the most popular family dramas on ZEE Television - Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. The role bagged her a nomination at Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Negative Role. She has played the female/parallel lead in numerous television soaps like Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak?, Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein and Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal. She gained success as a lead actress, quite at a very young age in her late teens and early 20s.

 

Tiwari was born in Ramnagar, in Varanasi district, Uttar Pradesh on 22 November 1989. Since young she dreamt to become an actress. But she never thought her dreams will become true. Her parents are quit liberal and believed in destiny. She came to Mumbai to try her luck, when her parents decided to send her for her higher studies. Things were not in her favour during her initial days and she started thinking to return to her hometown. She got her big break - Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo during this time and there was no turning back after that.

 

This pretty young lady has given some amazing performances in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak?, and Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal. Currently she is enjoying her stint with episodic shows. Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil, Rannbheri, Sumit Sambhal Lega, Code Red and Yeh Hai Aashiqui are some of her recent works. She played the role of Rani Durgavati in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap till 2015.
