Vikram Sirikonda Biography

Vikram Sirikonda is a film director and screenwriter associated with Telugu film industry. He scripted some of the finest scripts in the recent times which met with commercial success. He scripted super hit films such as Race Gurram (2014), Mirapakai (2011) and Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam (2009). For his debut work, Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam, he earned Nandi awards presented by state government.  He received the award in best debutant screenwriter category. Prior to his entry as film director and screenwriter, he has worked as an assistant under V. V Vinayak and Raghava Lawrence.

Vikram Sirikonda was born in Warangal of present-day Telangana in the year 1977. In the year 1993 his family got shifted to Hyderabad. He completed his engineering degree from BMS College, Bangalore and later took a diploma in film making from Asian Academy of Film & Television, Delhi. He loved stories, dialogues and acting since early childhood and also loved the art of storytelling. To pursue a career in films he took a diploma course in film making. Soon after studies, Vikram joined as an assistant director of V. V Vinayak for the film Tagore in 2003. He also worked as an assistant under the same director for three more years and was associated with hit films - Samba and Bunny.

He then joined Raghava Lawrence and worked with him for the breakthrough Telugu film Style in 2006. As a screenwriter, his first project was Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam. The romantic film starring Siddartha and Tamannah Bhatia was a huge hit at box office. He later wrote the scripts of Mirapakay and Race Gurram. In 2018, he made his directorial debut with Touch Chesi Chudu, the movie starring Ravi Teja, Raashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor. The movie registered a box office hit.
