Vikalp Mehta is a stage performer, comedy artist, film and television actor from Pali, Rajasthan, best known for doing mimicry of Akshay Kumar on various popular television comedy shows. He also owns a resemblance with the super star. His mimicry acts have made him an immensely popular entertainer on Hindi small screen, and regularly appears in different shows. He is regular with his stage shows and has performed over a thousand of stage shows in India and abroad. Vikalp Mehta is also a successful TV host who has hosted the popular comedy show, Life Ka Recharge LKR on &tv. He had also hosted 2016 UBA Pro Basketball League season.

Vikalp Mehta was born on 12 December 1989 in Pali, Rajasthan. He was born to Sanjeev Mehta and Anita Mehta. He spent his childhood days in his hometown where he completed his schooling, and later graduated in Commerce from Maharshi Dayanand University. He also did diploma in event management. An ardent fan of super star Akshay Kumar, he came all the way from Pali to Mumbai and waited the whole day at Mehboob Studio to click a photo with him. Vikalp earned popularity imitating the star, and he is frequent with TV shows with his mimicry act.

Apart from his mimicry performances on stage and small screen, he has also acted in a few television soaps like "Hansi Hi Hansi Mil Toh Lein". He entertained audience through the very popular shows like 'Comedy Circus' and 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'. Vikalp considers Akshay Kumar as his inspiration and main reason behind his tremendous success. He has stood in the same frame with the star for various advertisements and shows also.
