Vijay Velukutty Biography 
Vijay Velukutty is an Indian film editor who works in Tamil cinema. He also worked as stunt editor in the film industry. He has directed one Short film titled 'Koothu' for India Film Project 2015. Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani in 2014 marked his film debut as an independent film editor and since then he has worked for more than a dozen of films. Naan Thaan Bala, Rombha Nallavan Da Nee, Thiranthidu Seese, Sethu Boomi, Katha Solla Porom, Sangu Chakkaram, Gulaebaghavali, 6 Athiyayam, Kaathadi, Jackpot etc are some of his film projects as an editor.
As a stunt editor he has worked for the critically acclaimed Malayalam film, Kammatipaadam, and a few Tamil action films such as Kadamban, Pokkiri Raja, Asuravadham, Enakku Innoru Per Irukku and Bogan. He has associated with director Kalyaan for three of his films since 2016 - Katha Solla Porom, Gulaebaghavali and Kaathadi. His single shot film, Koothu won the 2015 Platinum Film of the Year award at the India Film Project. The short film was completed in 50 hours.
Vijay Velukutty hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was born on September 5 1987. He joined film industry as an assistant editor and has worked under Editor Suresh Urs in more than 80 feature films belonging to different languages. Naan Kadavul and Billa 2 are his major works as an assistant editor in Tamil cinema. As an independent editor he marked his debut in 2014. He has been a part of the anthology film 6 Athiyayam released in 2018, where he edited the first two chapters of the movie - Super Hero and Ini Thodarum directed by Cable Sankar and Shankar Thiyagarajan respectively.
