Vidup Agrahari Biography 
Vidup Agrahari is an Indian politician, singer and businessman. He is the son of prominent politicians from Allahabad, Shyama Charan Gupta and his wife Jamunotri Gupta. His father has served as a parliamentarian twice. As a singer he is best known for his pop album - Kaisi Ye Deewangee. "Jaane Kya Dekh Liya" telecasted on Doordarshan is another noted work as a singer. Apart from known as a singer and politician, he currently serves as one of the directors of Shyam Group of Companies. Vidup belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party.
He was born in 1969 in Manikpur, Allahabad of Uttar Pradesh. He was born into a family with strong political background. His father Shyama Charan Gupta is a politician and entrepreneur and founder and CMD of Shyama Group of companies, established in 1973. His mother Jamunotri Gupta is also a social worker and politician associated with BJP. Though born into a political family, he developed deep interest in music since his childhood days. He also participated in cultural events and singing competitions. He grew up listening to Bollywood oldies and took rigorous learning in music as well.
He launched his first album Kaisi Yeh Deewangee in 2004, which got recognized. The album found place in Top 10 on DD1. Agrahari later came out with his second music album ‘Jaane Kya Dekh Liya’ under the label of Venus. Lyrics were penned by Faaiz Anwar and music was composed by Prakash Ashish. Noted actresses Surveen Chawla and Shibani Dandekar were featured in the title track of the music video. Vidur prefers soft melodious songs than fast numbers. Agrahari also got opportunity to sing for a few film songs.
