Vibhav Roy Biography

Vibhav Roy is a popular actor associated with Hindi television known for playing lead roles. A model turned actor, he made his acting debut in Life OK’s show Gustakh Dil. He played the lead hero role of Nikhil Bhardwaj in the show, followed by two more lead roles - Doli Armaano Ki and Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan. In 2018 he made his Bollywood film debut through Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s big budget film, Padmaavat. He was seen playing the character role of Itaat Khan in the movie. Most recently he has bagged his first film in a lead role. The movie is titled Lashtam Pashtam, where he plays the lead character, Fahd Khan. He is a very established model in modelling industry.

 

Vibhav was born in New Delhi to doctor parents. Currently he resides in Mumbai. His childhood days were spent at London where his parents practised as doctors. He returned to India and schooled at St. Columba’s School, Delhi. Later he pursued his higher studies from Australia. He worked with IBM, Australia for three years as a financial consultant, and also completed the CPA certification. However he dreamt to become an actor, and pursued a career in modelling in 2012 soon after he returned to Mumbai.

 

Very soon Vibhav earned success in modelling field, and was also featured in TV commercials of Close Up, Olay Skin Care, Philips, Idea and many more. His success in modelling helped him to bag the lead role in television series, Gustakh Dil in 2013. He bagged lead role in two more TV dramas - Doli Armaano Ki and Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, and also the web series, TVF - The Making of a Star Son in 2016. He marked his Bollywood debut in 2018 with Padmaavat.
