Vibha Saraf is a budding playback singer associated with Bollywood. Most recently in 2018 she shot to fame by rendering her voice for the marriage song, Dilbaro in Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi. She was born in Fatehkadal, Srinagar in Kashmir. She was only three years old when her family shifted to Delhi. The singer grew up with a deep longing for her childhood home. In 2013 she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in music. She released her first single, “Harmokh Bartal” in 2016, dedicated to Kashmir, her real place, an ode to childhood memories. The song gave focus to Kashmir’s folk music and culture, rather than the militancy and it garnered good response. It was conventionally sung as a prayer to Lord Shiva. Ankur Mukherjee played the role of guitarist for the song. Nine-year old Laakhi provided English vocals for the song.

Vibha Saraf is also a song writer and music composer. Her talent was discovered when she was just four, when she played song antakshari game with fellow passengers on a train journey. Later music became an integral part of school and college life, and she also became a part of corporate band at her workplace. She was working as a media consultant then, who gave up the job to pursue a career in music. She started with jingles, before moving to singles and Bollywood songs.
