Vibha Anand Biography

Vibha Anand is a successful and established television actress known for portraying the roles of Sugna in Balika Vadhu and Subhadra in Mahabharat. She played lead role in Sanskaar Laxmi and grey shaded role in Shtree. She has participated in the television show, Meethi Chhoorii No 1 aired on NDTV Imagine and Kairee (TV series – 2012) and Sukh By Chance (2009) are other noted appearances. In 2010, she debut Bollywood with ‘Isi Life Mein’and was a moderate success at the box office. She played the supporting role of Nupur in this movie. At present she is portraying the role of Arjun’s second wife, Subhadra in Star Plus’ Mahabharata for which she received positive reviews. At present she is dating her television co-star, Rohit Purohit and the couple has been open about their relationship from the beginning.

VibhaAnand was born on 8 September, 1990. Popular television series, Shree aired during 2008-2009 was her first noted role in which she played the role of an evil spirit named Kangana. This supernatural soap opera earned her quick attention from public. Later she was seen in a powerful role in "Yeh Hai Aashiqui" on Bindaas. She was seen in the role of a prostitute in one of the episodes of the show.

Balika Vadhu was her first major break to the industry. She quit the show when she got title role of Zee TV's "Sanskar Laxmi". She met actor Rohit Purohit for the first time on the sets of the daily soap Sanskaar Laxmi. Though Rohit's character ended soon, they got attracted to each other and the couple has never tried to hide their relationship from media. Most recently Vibha has bagged a movie with stars Shreyas Talpade in lead role.
