Vennela Kishore is a well-established comedian of south Indian movies in the recent times. After the release of the movie Vennela in 2005, the tag ‘Vennela’ got added to his name. He played the hilarious role of Khader in this movie. After a series of 14 unnoticed movies, Kishore gained viewer’s attention through the comic role played in Vennala. He doesn’t believe himself to be a tremendous and talented actor. But he doesn’t want to remain as the shadow or sidekick of the leading star of the movie. Now he is to debut as a film director with the movie, Vennela 1 1/2.

Kishore was born on September 19, 1980 in Kamareddy, Nizamabad. He was a software engineer working in USA before entering film world. His real dream was to become a director. But destiny was something else and he became a comedian, after a series of flops. He played the role of Sashri in the blockbuster, Dookadu and Bindass, Pilla Zamindar, Daruvu and Seema Tapakai are his other noted roles. Areyrey, Rudhramadevi, Janda Pai Kapiraju and Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda are his upcoming movies.

He never moves his body too much and expresses everything using eye brows. He even never tries to make himself funny to make others laugh. His tongue-in-cheek one-liner is enough to bring a comedy situation full in life. Now he has turned to direction with Vennela 1 ½, sequel to Vennela. Kishore has himself written the script of the movie, while the shooting of the movie ‘Orange’ was going on in Australia. The movie with double- meaning comedy dialogues got ‘A’ certificate from censor board. He loves to do a central comedy character for a movie.
