Varun Toorkey is a noted actor associated with Hindi television industry. He is also a successful model. As an actor he is best known for playing the male lead Tushar Mallick in Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein. Varun is the male model who was featured in the very popular music video of 2006, Leja Leja Re from the album, Ustad and the Divas sung by Shreya Ghoshal. He was only 16 years old when he was featured in this very popular music video. Associated with television industry since 2013, he acted in Uttaran, Qubool Hai, Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein and Saam Daam Dand Bhed. A successful model, Varun has also done many commercials for popular brands like Raymond and Pizza Hut.

Varun Toorkey was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. 8 January 1990 is his birthday. Varun belongs to Parsi community. He spent his childhood days in Mumbai where he completed his schooling and graduation too. After graduation, he joined Anupam Kher's 'Actor Prepares' to learn acting. He was only 16 when he was featured in the popular sizzling video song sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Leja Leja Re from the album, Ustad and the Divas. The song was a big break to his modelling career, yet he continued with his studies before he turned a full-fledged model and actor.

He made his television debut in the year 2013 with the popular show, Uttaran, playing the role of a village man called Sankrant. His second show was Qubool hai which aired on Zee TV, where he played the role of a Pakistani military man. In 2016 he got his first male lead through the show Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein.
