Varun Sharma (tv Actor) Biography

Varun Sharma is a noted television actor associated with Hindi soaps. He is best known for the roles he played in Bhagyalaxmi on &TV, where he played the male protagonist. He was also seen in supporting roles in TV shows - Neem Neem Shahad Shahad, SaraswatiChandra, Doli Armaanon Ki and Sadda Haq before he bagged his first lead role in 2015 through Bhagyalaxmi. He was later seen in the popular shows - Sasural Simar Ka and Udaan.

Varun hails from Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He has one sister. His family is settled in Noida. He was a model based on New Delhi before his television entry. He marked his television debut in 2012 with the popular show, Neem Neem Shahad Shahad aired on Sahara TV. He was seen essaying the supporting role of Chirag in the show. He was later seen as Mihir in SaraswatiChandra and he also played the role of Sameer in Sadda Haq for Channel V in 2014.

In 2015 he bagged his first lead role through Bhagyalaxmi. However the show went off the air in 2016. Still he is known for the role of Anshuman Prajapati he played in the show. In 2016 he played his second lead role of Aditya Rawat in Udaan. He was paired opposite Mehendi Jain in Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki. He played a charming young NRI in the show. He played a negative role of Sameer in Channel V’s show, Sadda Haq.

Towards the concluding episodes of Sasural Simar Ka, one of the longest running Indian television soaps, Varun played the role of Piyush Prem Bharadwaj, Simar's son, opposite Nikki Sharma and Monica Sharma. He was also featured in MTV Webbed along with Nikita Sharma.
