Varada Jishin is a noted Malayalam actress who appears in big screen and small screen. On big screen she has played both lead and supporting roles. She made her film debut in a supporting role in 2006 film, Vastavam, and played her first lead role in Sultan in 2008. Yet Varada earned recognition through the roles she played on small screen. She completely switched on to small screen and earned praise for lead roles in a few shows, apart from anchoring reality shows. Amala is her most popular TV show which earned her several accolades.

Varada’s real name is Emi Mol. She was born in Thrissur in 1988. Her school education was completed from her hometown and graduation from Kozhicode. Varada got married to her ‘Amala’ co actor Jishin Mohan in 2014. The couple has one son born in 2017. She marked her big screen debut through Vasthavan in 2006, playing Prithviraj’s sister’s role. She played her first lead role in Sultan opposite Vinu Mohan. However the movie went unnoticed. Later she was seen in supporting roles in Makante Achan, Utharaswayamvaram etc. She took a break from big screen in 2010 after playing lead role in Valiyangadi and made her small screen debut in 2012.

Snehakkood on Soorya TV marked her small screen debut. Since then she is fully active in television. She played double role in Hridayam Sakshi, and also played lead role in Amala. Pranayam and Spandanam are her other noted small screen works. She is currently seen in the television show, Jagratha since 2017 where she plays the role of Shivagami. She is a successful TV anchor too, who anchored first two seasons of popular show, Patturumal on Kairali TV. Chef Master Season 2 and Raaree Raareeram Raaro are other popular shows. She is a trained classical dancer who has performed since her school and college days.
