Vani Sateesh Biography 
Vani Sateesh is a Carnatic vocalist from Bangalore, Karnataka. Vani started performing at a young age of only 10 and has performed in several musical festivals of the country. She gives emphasis on bhakti rasa for her renditions and has earned appreciation for her presentation. She is still learning music and Padmabhushana Sri P.S.Narayanaswamy, a direct disciple of Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer is her present guru. She completed her Master in Music from University of Mysore and was a recipient of a Government Scholarship for Young Artists. She belonged to a family with centuries old Carnatic tradition with the most recent 5 generations is collectively called - 'Vishesha Parampara' which spans over 130 years. Bellary M. Raghavendra is her elder brother.
Vani Sateesh was born in Bangalore, Karnataka into a family of Carnatic musicians with generations old tradition. Like other members she too inherited music from her family. Her great grandfather Mundarigi Narasimhachar a prominent Haridasa of Karnataka. Her grandfather Mundarigi Raghavendrachar was a musician and professor of music. Her father Bellary. M. Venkateshachar is a carnatic classical vocalist and her paternal uncle Bellary M Sheshagiri Achar was a Vaggeyakara, and the duo then known as Bellary Brothers then earned a niche of their own in the field of classical music. Obviously music was in her blood stream and she too followed the same tradition.
Her paternal uncle Bellary M. Sheshagiri Achar was her first guru. She continued learning music under her father. She continued learning from her elder brother Bellary M. Raghavendra. In fact her musical talents were first recognized by her brother. Giving her first concert at the age of 10, her musical journey has been well supported by her family. Her excellent tonal quality, soulful renditions and creative exposition of the ragas give a good listening experience.
