Vandana Srinivasan Biography 
Vandana Srinivasan is a south Indian playback singer, known for independent works as well. Some of her noted film songs are "Polladha Kuthirai" of Madhubana Kadai, “Avatha Paiya" of Paradesi, “Unnale” of Raja Rani, "Kooda Mela Kooda Vachu" of Rummy, "Penne Oh Penne" of Naan Sigappu Manithan, "Pathu Pathu" of "Pathu Pathu", "Sabke Vinathi” of Ennathan Pesuvatho. Since her film debut, her voice has been frequently used by G. V. Prakash Kumar who introduced her to film scene.
Vandana began training in the Carnatic style of Indian Classical music at an early age from Seetha Krishnan till she finished class 10. She is associated with a Madras based musical band right now, apart from collaboration initiative – Vandanam, where she works with different artists. She was introduced to Tamil film scene by G. V. Prakash Kumar through his movie, Thaandavam in 2012. Vandana is married to Anand Pattathil, a business man from Kochi, Kerala and currently settled in Kerala.
She completed Master’s degree in psychology, and never thought of a career in music, though trained in carnatic music. Her musical band - Staccato was formed during her college days in Chennai. Later she moved to London to complete her PG, though kept in touch with her band friends. She used to fly to Chennai to perform with the band. Her band members encouraged her to put up video and recorded audio clips on social networking sites and other websites, which clicked.
Later she came up with private albums for which she got appreciation and recognition and she decided to take music as her career. Her music albums were well recognized on social networking sites and very soon she got an opportunity to tour with Harris Jayaraj for many shows. Her band got an opportunity to perform at London Olympics, which indeed was a milestone of her career.
