Vaishali Thakkar Biography

Vaishali Takkar is a very popular actress associated with Hindi small screen. She is a television host too. She played supporting roles in popular soaps like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai & Yeh Vaada Raha, and also appeared in an episodic role in Yeh Hai Aashiqui, before she received her first lead role through Sasural Simar Ka. She played the lead role of Anjali Sameer Kapoor during the period, 2016-2017 which made her a household name among television audiences. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is her debut show, where she played the role of Sanjana and later she appeared as Simran in Yeh Vaada Raha. She was also seen in Ghar Bar (web series).

Vaishali Takkar was born on 15 July 1993 in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. She currently resides in Mumbai. Vaishu is her nickname, and also called Sanju. H. B. Takkar and Annu Takkar are her parents. She has been a model before she forayed to small screen. She started her career as a television host before she switched on to acting roles on small screen. She made her acting debut in the year 2015, playing the brief role of Sanjana in the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In her second show Yeh Vaada Raha, she was roped in to play the parallel lead. The show gave her enough exposure she was waiting for.

After the popular show Sasural Simar Ka got an 18 year leap, the charming actress Vaishali Takkar was casted as the new female lead in the show in2016. She is playing the role of Dipika Kakar’s daughter Anjali in the show. Her role in the show has most recently ended in 2017. It’s the longest running show on Colors TV, successfully completing 6 long years. She essayed the role of a free-spirited, but spoilt female brat in the show.
