Vaishali Samant Biography 
Vaishali Samant is a noted pop singer and playback singer of Bollywood and Marathi cinema who shot to success with the private album song, Aika Dajiba (2003). This song rocked the entire nation, creating great ripples among music lovers in the early 2000’s and sold more than one million copies. As a playback singer, her first big break was the song was ‘Yaaro yaarodi’ sang aside Richa Sharma and Mahalaxmi Iyer for 2000 Tamil movie, Alaipayuthey. Surprisingly she sang this wedding song aside her both co-singers and Shoma Banerjee for its Hindi version Chalka Chalka Re in Saathiya (2002), the song pictured on Rani Mukherji. It was one of the top tracks of the album for the year 2002.
She is a personal favourite of A. R. Rahman and has rendered her voice for his popular songs like "Radha Kaise Na Jale" of Lagaan aside Asha Bhosle and "Kya Dekh Rahe Ho Tum" and "Taal Se Taal" of 1999 movie, Taal. Now Samant is the reigning queen of Marathi playback and has also composed and penned lyrics for a few songs. She has also rendered her melodious voice for a few remix songs as well. Sajna hai mujhe remix is her most popular remixed song. "Kya Dekhte Ho Surat Tumhari" for DJ Aqeel in 2013 is the latest one.
She started her formal training in music at the age of 8 under Jyotsna Mohile. She also learnt from Mrs. Katti and Shree Jayant Datar for 5 years, followed by Guru Pandit Manohar Chimote. Since early days of her career, Vaishali aspired to take her talent beyond geographical boundaries of India and she is one of the best known female Indian pop singers globally who sings in Hindi and Marathi. Bahon Mein Mujhko, Aika Dajiba & Cham Cham Karta are her most popular non-filmy songs. She has worked with many renowned DJ’s like DJ Aqeel, Dj Akbar Sami, DJ Notorius, DJ Suketu and DJ Nasha. Tu Tu Hai Wohi, Dilbar Dil Se, Dhagala lagli kala, Disco 82, Keh doon Tumhe, Sajna Hai Mujhe and Jawan Hai Mohabbat are her popular remixed songs. Perhaps she is the most established female singer in Indian remixed song versions.
