Vaishali Mhade Biography

Vaishali Mhade is an Indian female singer from Maharashtra who gained attention and stardom through reality shows on music in Indian television. She is the winner of one of the top rated reality shows on music, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, aired on ZEE TV. She also won ZEE TV Marathi’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2008. Now she regularly sings for television soaps and has made her Bollywood debut through 2011 critical success movie, Damadamm where she rendered her sweet voice for the song, Hum Tum. She has also sung as a guest singer for a few private albums of which Shridhar Phadke’s Sangeet Manmohee Re (Marathi) needs special mention. She is equally active in both Hindi and Martahi music industry.

 

She was born in the year 1984 in Hinganghat. Her family originally belongs to Amravati of Maharashtra. Now she carries her career along with being a mother and is supported by her husband and family. She has also rendered her voice for Marathi daily soap Kalvadu’s title track. The track, Maazhi Dole is very popular. In 2009, she won the prestigious singing show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, aired on ZEE TV. As a winner, she received 5 million Indian rupees music contract with Zee TV, a Hyundai i10 car and LCD TV. She defeated Yashita Yashpal Sharma and Somen Nandi in the final round. When she participated in the show, she was already married and mother of a kid.

 

She is a die-hard fan of Lata Mangeshkar and loves to sing her songs. She sang Lata’s ‘Der na ho jaaye’ in the show for which she received many appreciation. She belonged to Himesh Reshamiya's "Rock Gharana" for this singing talent show.
