Utkarsh Gupta – the chocolate boy of Indian television is a model and best known for his participation as a contestant in Splitsvilla 8. He debuted on screen with ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’ aired on MTV and often known by his on-screen name in the serial Dhruv Vedant. Utkarsh is also an excellent dancer. As per latest news, the actor is to quit the show - ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’. He cited his wants to pursue other creative interests as the reason of his exit.

Utkarsh was born and brought up in Mumbai where he completed his education. He was born on 25 May 1995. Since younger days dancing has been his passion and he started his career as a model, before his debut in small screen with MTV series, for which he got well noticed. His career dream was to become a successful model. MTV channel ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’- the youth loving show marked his television debut and he became popular through the show. Utkarsh played the character of a mysterious hot guy named Dhruv Vedant for the series. He shot to fame after appearing in youth loving show MTV Splitsvilla season 8. The theme of the season was “What woman Love” and he was paired with Sana Sayyad. Their onscreen chemistry was well-appreciated by audience.  

This actor is known for his dancing abilities, which he showed for the show - MTV Splitsvilla season 8. After the exit and re-entrance of Parth Samthaan in MTV channel’s celebrated show ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’, the next actor to go is none other than Utkarsh Gupta, because he wants to pursue other creative interests. There were rumors that he was dating noted television actress Niti Taylor, but they denied the link-up.
