Unmukt Chand Biography 
Unmukt Chand is an Indian cricketer who plays for Delhi team in the domestic matches. He served as the captain of the Under 19 Indian Cricket team that won the World Cup 2012 in Townsville. He plays for Delhi Daredevils team in the IPL matches. He is a right handed batsman and right arm off break bowler.
Unmukt Chand was born on 26th March 1993 in Delhi. His father’s name is Bharat Chand Thakur and his mother’s name is Rajeshwari Chand. His father is a teacher at Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidhyalaya at Surajmal Vihar. He started playing cricket when he was just 6 years old. He got full support from his uncle Sunder Chand Thakur. He completed his schooling from Delhi Public School at Noida and Modern School at Delhi and did his higher studies at St. Stephen’s College at Delhi. He played for U 15, U 16 and U 19 teams.
He showed remarkable performance when he was playing for Delhi U 19 team. This gave him a place in the Delhi Ranji team. He then became the captain of the U 19 team and the North Zone U 19 team. He headed the India U 19 team in the quadrangular series held at Vishakhapatnam in which Sri Lanka, West Indies and Australia participated. He scored 122 runs in the match against Sri Lanka and gained the attention of his followers.
He plays for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL matches. He also has played at the Vinoo Mankad Trophy and Cooch Behar Trophy in junior level cricket. He also played in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Under his captaincy, India U 19 team has won the quadrangular series in Australia. In the final match against Australia, he scored 111 not out in 130 balls with 6 sixes and 7 boundaries.
