Ujjaini Mukherjee Biography 
Ujjaini Mukherjee is an Indian singer from the state of Bengal who works with independent music. She is a trained Hindustani singer and is associated with pop, rock and fusion music. At the age of 16 she participated in the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 and finished in the final top 10. It was one of the early appearances in a public platform, through which she got noticed. Later she along with Aishwarya Nigam received Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Ek Main Aur Ek Tu trophy. After that she never looked back. She has sung songs in many languages like Hindi, Bengali, English, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Assamese, Oriya etc.
Ujjaini Mukherjee hails from Kolkata, West Bengal. She started receiving music training at a very young age, and received her first winning trophy at the age of 10. The award was presented to her by Vijay Kichlu. During her early teens she was determined to become a singer and pursue a career in the field of music. She recorded her first song for the well-known Bengali composer, Debojyoti Mishra. As a singer she started gaining recognition through a couple of singing reality shows on ZEE TV - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, where she received the winning trophy in the later.
Her appearance in the reality shows helped her to get more offers from music industry and she has recorded and performed songs in many languages. She has also released many singles which were well received. A few of them include - "Aay Srabon", "Saajan Gaye Pardes" and "Nishi Raat Baanka Chand". "Mannu Bhaiyya Ka Karihen" from the film Tanu Weds Manu is one of her popular Hindi songs. She also sang for Bengali movies.
