U. K. Senthil Kumar Biography 
U. K. Senthil Kumar is a successful cinematographer associated with Tamil cine industry. He has also worked in Malayalam movies. He made his debut in 1993 with Manobala's Karuppu Vellai (1993). His works in comedy films Kalakalappu (2012) and Aranmanai (2014) were well received. He is associated with film industry since mid-1990s, and has done around 50 films belonging to both these languages. He is best known for his association with Sundar. C and they together have given many memorable Tamil movies. Kalakalappu 2, Muthuramalingam and Meesaya Murukku are his recent works. He did the camera work for Rajinikanth starrer Arunachalam (1997).
U. K. Senthil Kumar hails from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He was born in the year 1972. He pursued film making, and graduated in cinematography from Government Film Institute, Chennai in 1992. He made his debut in 1993 with Manobala's Karuppu Vellai (1993), and since then completed 25 years in film industry completing more than 50 films. He exclusively worked for director Sundar C in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and it helped him to establish in the film industry as a successful cinematographer. Later he was replaced by Prasad Murella, and Senthil Kumar continued in the film industry working with other filmmakers.
Since mid-2000s he exclusively worked on low budget films and established a reputation as a talented cameraman. Those movies were completed in short time, and it helped him a lot to achieve fame within a short time interval. He returned to C. Sundar’s camp through 2012 movie, Kalakalappu (2012) and then worked with him for the movie, Aranmanai (2014). He is also known for his political campaigns for political leaders. He promotes different politicians through hologram-like videos and other forms of entertainment.
