Taj Noor Biography 
Taj Noor is a film composer associated with Tamil cinema. He scores both songs and background music. His independent career began in 2010 and he has been associated with more a dozen of Tamil film projects. However, most of his early works are still unreleased. In 2018 he composed background music for the horror anthology film, 6 Athiyayam. His score was added in the segment Anamika for this horror flick. Gnana Kirukkan, Katham Katham, Nayyapudai, Strawberry, Eththan and Vamsam are his other major works as an independent composer. Taj Noor assisted music director A. R. Rahman in the mid-1990s.
Taj Noor was born in Salem town, Tamil Nadu. His father Usman Ali Khan was a district collector, and his mother’s name is Habibonisha. He is the youngest of 5 children to his parents. He has two brothers and two sisters. His early years were spent in Salem where he completed his schooling. He graduated in Physics from Government Arts College, Salem. His active years in music industry began in 1993, and he assisted music legend A. R. Rahman since 1996. Initially he was assigned the job to backup all musical works of Rahman. In those days it was a tedious process as computer technology was not so advanced then.
After working as an assistant in the industry for many years, he turned a full-fledged music composer with 2010 film Vamsam followed by Eththan. In fact Aayiram Muthangaludan Thenmozhi was his first signed project, which had a delayed release in 2012. Till 2014 most of his works got shelved or unreleased. "Marudhani Poovumele" from his first released film Vamsam got noticed, and that’s how he bagged more film projects.
