Sweta Keswani Biography

Sweta Keswani is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works on Hindi television. She is a qualified doctor and holds an MBBS degree. She was born in Mumbai on March 23, 1983. Keshwani rose to fame with her vamp roles in daily TV soaps named ‘Desh Mein Nikla Hoga Chand’ and ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’. Gudiya Thakkar in the Star Plus hit series Baa Bahoo Aur Baby is also her noted appearance. She started modelling during her college days and later moved to television. Sweta is married twice. At first she was married to Alexx O'Nell, an American born actor and musician based in India. They got married in 2008 and divorced 3 years later. Second she married Ken Andino and the couple has one child. As a successful host and anchor, she hosts Indian events in NYC.

Sweta was born in Mumbai in 1983. She completed graduation in commerce from MMK College, Mumbai. She started learning Kathak at the age of 6 and she studied from Sangit Mahabharati institute and later from Guruji Shri Surinder Kaur. She has also learnt contemporary dance forms from Shiamak Davar's dance academy. Since college days, she got interested in modelling and she appeared in many television commercials. Wall's Ice Cream, Pond's and Fanta are among her noted commercials.

Her earliest television roles include - ‘Desh Mein Nikla Hoga Chand’ and ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, which made her immensely popular. Though she started with vamp roles, later she got positive roles as well. She has also appeared in a few Bollywood movies in a glamour doll avatar - ‘Tauba Tauba’, Love in Nepal’ and ‘The Memsaab’. She is now associated with an NGO - “Green Planet”.
